There is a lovely restaurant here called Lakeside by Rachel, used by the golf club and the on site lodges. Had 3 delicious meals in here; beef burger, fish & chips, and Greek flatbread chicken. Reasonable prices for meals and drinks, would definitely come again. Polite and helpful staff.

North Lake Lodges are amazing everything you need and more. They give you a welcome pack to start you of. This was our third time here. Very private in a beautiful location and having the hot tub is great. Definitely recommend and we'll definitely be back thank you for a lovely holiday.

We had a lovely stay, the lodges are very nice and well kitted out. The whole park is well spaced out offering a quiet and relaxing atmosphere and most lodges are not over looked. In terms of activities, the golf course is great for quick 9 holes but don’t expect tournament standards, the fishing was unbelievable, 33 common carp caught in 3 days!!!!!! Bar and restaurant only open lunch until 5 but a great farm butchers on site with an excellent choice of meet at great prices.

One of the best lodge breaks we have had in the UK. Wonderful place. Great food on site in the restaurant 👌. Butcher on site sells amazing products which are very tasty. Lodges are spotlessly clean, and very well furnished with comfy quality beds. very quiet site in a beautiful location.we never tire of staying at North lakes lodges its the ideal place to fully relax and recharge.

We had a fantastic time at the North Lakes Lodges and will defiantly return however have a few queries/comments which would have improved our experience. We stayed in Darwin 8 which states a steam room which we didn’t find. Also the lodges are extremely light in the early morning with no curtains, only blinds. Our biggest query is the random days and timings of the restaurant. We would have enjoyed to go on the evening of our anniversary but it closes at 1730 and only on selected days. These points apart we did enjoy our visit.

Last year we stayed in a Darwin, this year we upgraded to a Sheraton. Both lodges are beautiful but the Sheraton is sat on a wonderfully thought out piece of land, featuring a huge 'back garden', it feels like you're in the middle of nowhere, which is exactly what we like! The lodge is stunning, the decor and fittings are beautiful, the sauna and hottub are immaculate too (the hottub is maintained for you every morning). We also had a couple of takeout deliveries from the onsite Lakeside Cafe restaurant. The food is delicious, you can tell they use quality ingredients. The grilled cheese was to die for, and the chicken club was nice and full with perfect crispy bacon. Would also recommend the Beef Sarnie which was far too big for me, but I couldn't stop eating it! We had a cumbrian breakfast too, and both agreed that it was the best we'd eaten anywhere. Couldn't fault this place at all, and just another reason to return again.

We stayed at the Sheraton Retreat for my husband's birthday, and the lodge was absolutely stunning. I can't fault the place it was breathtaking. The view was amazing. We had a large outdoor private garden space. The hot tub, sauna, steamed shower, and fireplace in every room were amazing. There were a few things that i would note, the bathroom floor can get slippery, so be very careful. They don't supply oven gloves, so you'll need to get your own if you want to use the oven. They provide milk, bread, vinegar, and tea essentials. They also provide bathrobe and slippers. However, we stayed for 4 nights and only had one pair of towels and one nights worth of Toilettries, but once we asked for more, we did receive it. There is an out of hours number that wasn't provided in our welcome folder, so be sure to get this from someone in reception before your stay. You can also book a massage therapist to give you an in lodge massage on a Thursday her name is Blanche, and she did one of the best hot stone massages I have ever had. The lodge has a golf course and lots of acres of land for you to go for a stroll sit by the lake and see all the animals. There is also a restaurant that served amazing freshly made food daily.

Stayed at Darwin lodge. Staff and processing was excellent, had someone to speak to via txt who told me everything I needed to no! I have stayed all over the world I. Top hotels but I have to say this was my first lodge. It’s amazing!! Every detail, the lighting, hot tub, huge tvs every where. Kitted out with everything you would want for a short stay gave us complimentary milk, bread etc. Came for a weekend away with my wife, It’s so peaceful and views are so good you forget you’re in England. 4 takeaway numbers in the booklet they give and halalIndian restaurant available. Best place I’ve stayed in a while. Will be booking again very soon!!

What an experience, beautiful location, and lodges. We stayed in a Darwin with a hot tub and sauna. Lovely towns nearby with Keswick only 25 minutes away, cockermouth about 20 minutes but still within reaching distance to Bowness on windermere which is around 45/60 mins away. The restaurant by Rachel at the entrance to the lodges is family run very friendly staff, and the butcher joined at the back selling fresh produce, I recommend the Cumberland sausages they were fantastic. The lodge had lovely complimentary items, milk, butter, jams, a loaf of fresh local bread, and even hot chocolate. I would give my experience here a 10/10. I visited with my wife and 1 year old daughter - they even left a high chair by the dining table and a folding travel cot in the bedroom for us to use. Thanks again for a lovely visit. We'll definitely be back.

I don’t know how to describe a place that’s so perfect! Wow! Me and my wife went away for her birthday it was a surprise gift and she absolutelyLoved it. The privacy is fantastic the views are absolutely amazing, the decor is modern and most of all these lodges are equipped with practically everything you need. I travelled from the midlands the late check in was so easy, the whole place was clean and tidy I genuinely could permanently move into one of these lodges! Temperature on hot tub was always perfect it was maintained very discreetly in the mornings with no discomfort to ourselves. Will I go back again? Without a doubt! It was my first lodge experience it certainly didn’t disappoint. It was a darwin we stayed in. The next booking will be for a Sheraton without a doubt. I’d give 10* rating if I could honestly amazing!

Spent 4 nights in Wordsworth 12.Stunning lodge.Spotlessly clean.Welcome pack and a few cleaning items were much appreciated.Thought has been taken on the position of lodges, as they don't look in to others so very private. The park itself is a credit to all who look after it.The golf course was a pleasure. The home farm shop was excellent.Unfortunately, the clubhouse was closed for refurbishment and that would just have made it even better. We were also very lucky with warm sunny weather.Would go back and would not hesitate to recommend.

Love this place. As a family we usually go with our 2 kids a few times a year. A great place to switch off and relax, pour a glass of bubbly and get in the hot tub. Modern and classy lodges kept to a very high standard. And great food! If I was to make any negative comment it would be that check out is at 9am which makes it a bit of a rush. But other than that, it's perfect!
