Lake District Fishing Lodge Holidays

Stay in our Lawson Lodge and head out to your own private jetty and enjoying a tranquil day of fishing. Gathering your rods and reels and fishing by a secluded eight acre lake.

Fishing is available to all lodge guests as we have allocated swims around the lake which can be arranged when checking into the lodge park.

Sound like your perfect day? Then a fishing lodge holiday at Brayton Park might just be the ultimate getaway for you.

Our private two island, naturally stocked ‘old English’ Carp fishing lake is the only one of its kind in the UK. Not only does it offer great fishing, it also has panoramic views of the Northern Fells and the Scottish Hills to beautifully frame your fishing experience.

As a guest of Brayton Park, you will have total exclusivity of the lake. However, if you’d like to vary your location during your stay, our lodge park is conveniently positioned just a short drive from the West Cumbrian coast. Home to flounder, plaice and bass, there are areas which offer the visiting angler some tremendous sport, all within easy reach of our fishing holiday park.

Equipment & Code of Conduct

A quiet day’s fishing is available to guests staying at Brayton Park by prior arrangement, but unfortunately, we do not allow day guests to fish. Please telephone Brayton Park if you wish to fish on the Carp Lake during your stay.

Carp angling is a specialist sport and not only requires specialist equipment but also the knowledge of how to handle these beautiful condition specimen fish. Therefore, unfortunately, we do not retain any angling equipment for common angling guest rental.

Fish from the lake banks from designated areas under the cover of trees, this offers the idyllic spot for the perfect day of fishing.
